This coffee table was designed for the “P’tit Baz’art” of Nancy (France). For this general public trade show, I choose to realize a trendy furniture for an affordably price by favoring simple shapes at once sober and elegant. The sleepers cuted to 45° and the fineness of the table top make it look lighter while the inverted triangles legs give the impression of a movement.
Hiryon seems almost fragile, giving the impression it is about to rock.
The union between oak and concrete reinforce the contemporary effect produce by Hiryon.
The table top is coated with a resin, guarantying the impermeability and resistivity of the surface, while giving it a pleasurable soft grainy touch.
Solid oak, MDF, concrete coating, resin.
Dim. 90 x 90 x 35 cm
